Tejas LCA – India’s Indigenous Supersonic Marvel

At the heart of India’s modern aviation success lies the Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA)—a landmark achievement in indigenous defence technology. Designed and developed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) in collaboration with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Tejas is the smallest and lightest multi-role supersonic fighter aircraft in its class.
With its single-engine, compound-delta wing, and tail-less design, Tejas combines agility with advanced aerodynamics, making it a formidable presence in the skies. Commemorative Postage Stamp

To celebrate India’s aviation achievements and honour its skilled pilots and engineers, the Department of Posts issued a Commemorative Postage Stamp depicting the Tejas Light Combat Aircraft.
This stamp is a tribute to the men and women who guard India’s skies with courage and commitment, and to the nation’s enduring quest for excellence in the field of aviation and defence.
