Geeta Dutt was one of India’s most expressive and soulful playback singers, known for her uniquely emotive voice that brought rare depth and sensitivity to Hindi and Bengali film music. Her ability to blend classical nuances with natural simplicity made her one of the most cherished voices of the golden era of Indian cinema. She was also the spouse of noted filmmaker Guru Dutt.
