Boat Carried – Special Cover

This special cover is carried by boat from Shringverpur to Rasoolabad Ghat, Allahabad on the holy River Ganga.

Located at a distance of about 45km in North West direction from Allahabad, this holy place of Shringaverpur is an important mythological destination of ‘Ramayana Circuit’. It was at this place that Shri Ramchandra Ji along with Sita Ji and Laxman Ji crossed the river Ganga by boat on the request of Nishadraj Guha to proceed to Chitrakoot to start his stay in exile. It is also at this place that Shri Ramchandra Ji persuaded the people of Ayodhya to go back and along with Sita Ji and Laxman Ji denounced their royal robes before crossing over the River Ganga.
