Scindia School, Gwalior, 125 Years

The Scindia School, established in 1897 by HH Maharaja Madhavrao Scindia I, has been a beacon of learning and character-building for over a century. Originally founded as the Sardars’ School to educate the sons of Jagirdars and Chieftains, it underwent a transformative journey under the visionary leadership of HH Maharaja Jiwajirao Scindia, becoming the modern public residential institution known as the Scindia School in 1933.

Pioneering in educational practices, the Scindia School became the first in the country to integrate IT into its curriculum in 1984, under the astute guidance of HH Maharaja Madhavrao Scindia II.
