Shipping, cancellations and refunds
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This page explains how orders from The Philatelist shop are sent, and what to do if you need to cancel an order or ask for a refund. If anything here doesn’t answer your question, write to us.
Shipping
- When your order is sent depends on what you ordered. Different items are prepared and posted differently, so there isn’t one dispatch time for every order.
- If your order is delayed, we’ll tell you by email or WhatsApp, using the contact details you gave at checkout.
- Postage, if any, is shown at checkout before you pay.
- You can see your orders and their status any time in My account → Orders.
Cancelling an order
Orders can’t be cancelled automatically on the site. If you need to cancel, write to us as soon as you can, with your order number, and we’ll let you know what we can do.
Refunds
- Refunds aren’t automatic either. If there’s a problem with your order (for example it arrives damaged, or something is missing), contact us with your order number and a description; photographs help.
- When we agree a refund, it is paid back to the way you paid (UPI, card or net banking) through Razorpay. How long it then takes to reach your account depends on your bank or card provider.
Contact
