A child’s painting of fishermen with their boats and nets under the moon, by B. Karthik.
India Post issued two ₹5 stamps and a ₹10 miniature sheet for Children’s Day, 14 November 2007, the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru. As every year, the stamps are paintings by children, chosen in an all-India stamp design competition. India Post’s brochure for this issue is not online, so this text draws on India Post’s list and on the stamps themselves.
From the same issue, then stamps sharing its themes, especially Drawings and Children; closest in year first.
